This is in preparation for incoming photos of the second group shoot of ICO from last month. Basically not gonna come THAT soon as this need lots of post processing, but I'm excited for the results so far and I can assure you it is ICO-tastic! XD
A bit of fangirl rambling here, if I am being asked between Zektbach, Suikoden and team ICO, which one I like the most, it's hard. It looks more like I am putting Zektbach as no 1 based one my constant rave and the amount of cosplays, but then that's because Zektbach is still growing. Suikoden growth has basically stopped after 5 for me, regardless I still placed its storyline and plot above all. I still love Fumi-sensei artwork even to this day, it's just a pity that her artworks are limited to the characters 'status' image (which is plenty but still..) and a very few for promotional one. If she is to release a proper artbook like MAYA, you can bet I'll be as ecstatic as I am with MAYA artbook! But she just does not, I think she is basically retired at this point since like forever /sobs. Cosplay wise? Well Zektbach has all this pretty PV and very character centric storyline full of angst and despair, above all a very fantasy setting. Combined with MAYA prowess in all this symbolism and concept in her PVs, coming up with all sort of different idea for shoot is easy. Suikoden is very plot driven, and getting a shoot idea/location for the cosplay is harder for solo, it almost like it is screaming for a group ;3; In overall, Suikoden = best storyline, plot and story telling with millions fantastic characters, though only the 'main' one get developed further, naturally. Zektbach = best setting for me for its heavy fantasy theme and filled with character centric thing with plenty of despair, above all, pretty with the music and PV artworks combination.
But team ICO series? They are SHORT, veryyyy shortttttt. There is not much to talk or discuss about regarding this series.
As I said in the ICO gallery, this series is UNIQUE. Everything people rave about this series are for that experience you get from playing it. It is short, it's not complex with story line at all, there is even barely any dialogue in it heck even the characters in the game you can count with one hand! There is no material to keep raving about this series all the time like the other two, but that feeling and experience you get just from playing through these games will stay there and has an ever lasting impact like no other. Oh and the graphic and the cinematic in the game, DAMN IN THEY ARE FUCKING BEAUTIFUL OKAYYY ;3;
